yesterday, on one last day of enjoyment i went with the esperanza interns to 27 waterfalls, this gorgeous national park that has.... you guessed it 27 waterfalls. some of them have natural waterslides that you can slide down the waterfall or jump off of. it was so beautiful! we had a great time.
right now, im at the esperanza office in samana, which is a peninsula on the north coast. we were able to squeeze in one interview today after our long, long, long bus ride back from jarbacoa, which was great. the next 3 days are going to be intense, with interviews in the morning and afternoon. i know we'll be able to get to 30, which is great. tonight tess & i are staying at the intern stationed here's house. apparently there are tarantulas there. eek.
